William C. Wagner Appointed to Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program Committee

Taft partner William C. Wagner has been appointed to the Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program Committee. He is one of three Indiana members serving on this committee. Mr. Wagner focuses his practice on environmental law, complex litigation and white collar criminal defense.

The Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program Committee was formed in May 2009 to conduct a multi-year, multi-phase process to develop, implement, evaluate, and improve pretrial litigation procedures that would provide fairness and justice to all parties while seeking to reduce the cost and burden of electronic discovery consistent with Rule 1 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The committee is made of members from all sectors of the bar, including government lawyers, plaintiffs’ lawyers, defense lawyers, and in-house lawyers from companies with large information systems, as well as experts in relevant fields of technology.
