David Johnson Honored by Starr Columbus

David L. Johnson, co-partner-in-charge of the Columbus office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been honored as the first recipient of the "Goodness Made Visible" award by Starr Columbus. The award was presented at a dinner celebration on October 18, 2012 at the Franklin Park Conservatory.
 
The award recognizes Johnson’s dedication and contributions to Starr Columbus over the past 20+ years. He continues to serve the organization as an Emeritus board member. The award, and those that will follow annually, recognizes continuous, significant commitment to Starr Columbus and its mission to create safe and nurturing environments for all children. In addition to Johnson’s honor, the corporate honoree for 2012 was Nationwide Insurance. 

Johnson, an attorney for 40 years, is a member of multiple practice groups at Taft, including Business & Finance and Health & Life Sciences. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, employee relations, intellectual property protection, franchising and distribution relationships, international law and corporate governance. Over the years, he has served the Greater Columbus community as a member of several charitable boards. His professional recognitions include a preeminent AV peer-review rating by Martindale-Hubbell and repeated inclusions in Best Lawyers in America and Ohio Super Lawyers. Johnson’s undergraduate degree is from Ohio Wesleyan University. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
