Maniace Elected President of Rotary Club of Columbus

James V. Maniace has been elected president of the Rotary Club of Columbus. The swearing in ceremony took place June 25, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.  Maniace’s term is for a one year.  In his capacity as president of the Rotary Club of Columbus, he will lead the membership group of executives and professionals who meet weekly for programs, service and networking. The group’s mission is to create enduring change in the lives of others in need.  The Club is very active in the Columbus City Schools and also sponsors international projects in Africa and Mexico. 

Maniace is a partner in the Columbus office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.  His practice blends together advice on all aspects of business and corporate law with specialties in the real estate, oil and gas, and information technology law areas. He frequently serves as outside general counsel to companies of all sizes, including closely-held and family-owned companies. He received his law degree from Duke University School of Law in 1981.
