Taft Attorney Hux Elected ICLEF Vice President

INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that partner Alan M. Hux was elected Vice President of the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF) Board of Directors at its quarterly meeting on October 14, 2010. Hux focuses his practice on corporate and real property matters in Taft’s Indianapolis office.

Hux most recently served on the ICLEF Board as an appointed member, a position he has held since 2008. During that time, he was extremely active, serving as a member of the Budget/Fiscal Committee, By-Laws Committee and the Executive Committee. It was this dedicated service to the Board along with his association with the ICLEF staff that propelled his nomination to serve as ICLEF’s next Vice President.

“Alan’s hard work in furthering ICLEF’s mission to produce the highest quality CLE programming is a passion that he will continue to bring as he serves as our Vice President,” said Tom von Kamecke, ICLEF’s Executive Director. “We are very pleased and excited that he will continue his service to our Board in this capacity.”

Hux will also be serving as District 11 Representative. His term will run from October 2010-October 2013.
