Neal R. Roach Jr. Named Certified Licensing Professional

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Neal R. Roach Jr., a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been named as a member of the first group to earn the Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) credential. He joins just ten other intellectual property professionals in the state of Indiana who have demonstrated their dedication to the highest standards of practice in intellectual property licensing.

The CLP certification was created as an initiative of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) to recognize licensing professionals who are committed to professional development and the attainment of the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs at the highest level of quality.

“We are very proud of Neal and his accomplishment. Neal’s background and experience make him uniquely qualified to provide practical, real-world advice to our clients,” said Jonathan Polak, co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group.

Mr. Roach, a member of the firm’s health and life sciences, intellectual property and business practice groups, focuses his practice on business transactions, specifically on intellectual property licensing transactions, as well as health care and life sciences law. He has represented numerous startup and high-growth companies on a broad range of matters.  Mr. Roach received his law degree from Yale Law School in 1987, where he was managing editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review

Prior to joining Taft, Mr. Roach spent 14 years with Roche Diagnostics.
