Ross E. Wales, a partner in Taft’s Cincinnati office, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors for the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) after serving on the Board since May of 2003.
CWLA, the oldest and largest child-welfare organization in the United States, combines the resources of nearly 800 public and private nonprofit organizations to promote the well-being of children nationwide. In particular, CWLA champions the rights of children to safety, health care, adequate housing and proper nutrition. Each year the CWLA provides direct support to over 3.5 million children and families.
