Elrod and Thee Join Taft’s Indianapolis Office

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Cassandra L. Elrod and Caroline Thee have joined the firm’s Indianapolis office as associates.

Elrod joins Taft’s Intellectual Property and Litigation groups. She received her B.A. in journalism, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and earned her J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she attended as a Dean’s Scholar. While in law school, Elrod served as a notes editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies and was published in the journal for her note “The Domino Effect: How Inadequate Intellectual Property Rights in the Fashion Industry Affect Global Sustainability.” She also attended ESADE Business and Law School as part of a study abroad program. Prior to joining Taft, Elrod was a summer associate with the firm and an intern with Ingardus LLC.

Thee joins Taft’s Business & Finance group. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law, where she was a member of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and Phi Delta Phi. Thee was awarded the Legal Practice Scholar Award in recognition of her performance in the Legal Practice Program, which is a program dedicated to teaching legal writing and practical skills throughout law school. She received her B.A. in political science and history, summa cum laude, from DePaul University. Thee was a summer associate with Taft, and prior to that, she was a judicial extern for the Hon. Roderick C. Young, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and a fellow for Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, in Washington, D.C.
