Bilott Quoted Regarding Hoosick Falls Proposed Settlement

Taft partner Robert A. Bilott was quoted in several articles recently regarding a proposed settlement agreement involving the Village of Hoosick Falls, New York, and PFOA contamination. Bilott was one of the lead attorneys in separate litigation against DuPont involving PFOA contamination in the Mid-Ohio Valley in which a $670.7 million settlement in principle was recently announced.

Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee handling litigation against DuPont, has been in the spotlight since The New York Times Magazine dubbed him "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.
