Bilott to Speak at Green Science Policy Institute and The Ohio State University

Taft partner Robert A. Bilott will speak at two upcoming events regarding his career and continued work against chemical giant DuPont:

  • On Feb. 6, Bilott will participate in a "Dean's Roundtable Discussion" to a group of law students in Columbus, Ohio. The discussion is sponsored by The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law's Program on Law and Leadership.
  • On Feb. 10, Bilott will speak at the Green Science Policy Institute's "Flame Retardant Dilemma and Beyond Symposium," held at the University of California – Berkeley.

Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff’s altering committee handling litigation against DuPont, has been in the spotlight since New York Times Magazine dubbed him "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.

Bilott is a member of Taft's Environmental, Litigation and Product Liability and Personal Injury groups. He represents a diverse range of clients on a wide variety of matters involving federal, state and local environmental laws and related litigation.
