Butler is the Partner In Charge of Taft’s Columbus office and is a business trial lawyer, experienced representing companies in a wide range of complex, commercial legal matters, including class actions and multi-district litigation. Butler also represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters involving wrongful death or serious bodily harm.

Thomas concentrates his practice in corporate compliance and white collar criminal defense. He counsels and represents companies, public officials, health care providers, and other professionals who are the subject of state and federal investigations and prosecutions involving the United States Department of Justice and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, as well as county prosecutors throughout the state.
