Antonia Mitroussia and Allison Bruns Elected To International Law Committee for CBA

Cincinnati, OH – Antonia Mitroussia and Allison R. Bruns, both attorneys in the Business and Finance Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, have been elected to serve on the International Law Committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association. Ms. Mitroussia has been elected chair and Ms. Russell has been elected vice-chair for a two year office term.

Mitroussia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English and Comparative Literature and received her Master’s Degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Mitroussia graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law with her law degree.

Mitroussia, a resident of Clifton, focuses her practice on immigration law including the employment of foreign nationals in the U.S. and related family immigration matters. She is a native speaker of Greek, and competent in Spanish and French. Ms. Mitroussia is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the firm’s Professional Women’s Resource Group (PWRG).

Bruns graduated magna cum laude from Depauw University and obtained her law degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and served as president of the Hispanic Law Student Association. Ms. Russell, fluent in both Spanish and German, studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and served as a Rotary International Cultural Ambassadorial Scholar in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. In Germany, Ms. Russell was also a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow, during which time she worked at the Federal Ministry of Justice in Berlin and later in the legal department of Siemens AG in Munich.

Bruns, a resident of Oakley, has extensive experience in US and European copyright and trademark law, and drafting of contracts relating to computer software, hardware, e-commerce, Web site development and consulting. She has represented both licensors and licensees in the negotiation of all types of copyright, trademark and patent licenses. Ms. Russell is a member of the firm’s Professional Women’s Resource Group.
