Vaselaney a Featured Speaker at the AICPA Advanced Estate Planning Conference

Taft partner Missia H. Vaselaney will be a featured speaker at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants  (“AICPA”) Advanced Estate Planning Conference, which will run July 15-17 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland. Keynote speakers and leading experts will provide in-depth insight into key issues and legislative changes facing estate planning professionals today. Attendees will include CPAs, financial planners, attorneys, insurance agents and tax advisors.

Vaselaney will kick off the pre-conference workshops on July 14 with a panel presentation on the fundamentals of estate planning. On July 15, she will discuss how to achieve clients’ goals for the management, preservation and transmission of assets in a presentation titled “The Golden Age of Estate Planning Existed Long before There Was an Estate Tax.” On the final day of the conference, she will present on “CPAs Review of Wills and Trusts.”

A member of the steering committee for the AICPA's National Advanced Estate Planning Conference since 2001, Vaselaney focuses her practice on estate planning for business owners and individuals. She works with clients to both plan and administer estates that have ranged from the very modest to the large and sophisticated.
