Summary

Blake focuses his practice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and emerging companies. He has extensive experience in secured lending and negotiating complex commercial transactions for both private and public companies. Blake serves as primary outside general counsel for various privately held companies in and outside of the Greater Cincinnati area. Blake also works with Ohio retail outlets and distributors on liquor permitting matters.

Blake received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he served as a staff editor and member of the editorial board of the Duke Law Journal, and his B.S. in Sport Management, magna cum laude, from Xavier University. Before joining Taft, Blake served as an adjunct professor at Xavier, teaching Legal and Ethical Issues in Sports.

In the community, Blake serves as board president for Working in Neighborhoods and is an Overseer for Redwood.
