GREGORY W. BEE is a partner in the Business and Finance Practice Group of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He received his undergraduate degree and master's degree in philosophy from Ohio University and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a member of the University of Michigan Health Law Society. Greg concentrates his practice on a range of corporate issues, particularly as they relate to physicians and health care entities. He has advised clients on business start-up and financing, contract negotiation, employment matters, hospital and physician joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions (healthcare and non-), food and drug law matters, hospital medical staff issues, state professional and facility licensing issues, and various other health care regulatory matters including HIPAA, Stark and Anti-Kickback issues.

Transactions and representative engagements in which Greg has been involved include the merger of two orthopaedic physician practices, clinical integration of multiple hospital-based physician groups within health system, negotiation of clinical co-management agreements with hospitals for both hospital-based physician groups and surgical specialty physician groups, the formation and ongoing representation of a physician-owned group purchasing organization, formation and ongoing representation of ambulatory surgical centers, creation of a physician referral entity, representation of physician groups and institutions in academic medical center and faculty practice plan matters, representation of a national eye surgery business, and numerous other corporate and employment matters for businesses of all sizes.

He is engaged in various charitable and civic activities through the Cincinnati Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of Building Blocks Foundation. Greg is a member of the Ohio and Cincinnati Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association.
